ANDROMEDA

ANDROMEDA is an Asia Street Style Jazz Fusion band. We play primarily 70s-80s fusion, the genre that later inspired the soundtracks of 90s videogames. Closely related to the well-known City Pop from the same era and Midiwave from the 90s.On top of that, we also bring a bit of Slavic Post-punk, Classical, Retro-VGM, and some other songs with strong melodic presence, counterpoints, and energetic passages.Our mission is to bring new amazing songs people might not have heard of, to broaden the music landscape of as many people as possible.The name ANDROMEDA is a reference to the most energetic Japanese Jazz Fusion band CASIOPEA. In the Greek mythology, Cassiopeia is the mother of Andromeda, and both are name of sky objects, so nothing more fitting than paying homage to a great Fusion icon than naming our band after them.
